Our teachers incorporate props and materials into the different learning environments that reflect diversity in the above-mentioned areas.
We encourage families and members of our community to visit with us throughout the year, not just on special occasions, to share their traditions and customs.
We collaborate with the Early Learning Coalition and the State of Florida to ensure that families can receive tuition assistance and participate in a high-quality childcare/ preschool program.
 
															Three-year-old’s with the “Let Me Do It!” attitude need integrated, hands-on learning experiences. Experimentation and exploration build higher-level thinking, language, math, social and motor skills; threes love fun and challenging experiences. The 3K teachers offer activities to creatively stimulate minds to the highest level possible by partnering with parents to provide a strong spiritual foundation in a loving, nurturing Christ-centered environment and with the Frogstreet & ABEKA Curriculum. Our 3-K Preschool Program operates on a set schedule with instructional time beginning at 9:00 AM. Days are busy with circle time, centers, show-n-tell, Spanish & Music classes, etc. all before rest time which begins at 11:45 am. Supplemental planned activities, that are appropriate for this age, continue throughout the entire day.3K classrooms are set up to allow for individual exploration and learning.
Learning environments such as Reading/Listening Corner, Science Centers, Dramatic/Home Center, Block, Sand Play, Small Manipulatives, and most children’s favorite, Art Area. New Items are periodically introduced to further their understanding of the coordinated weekly/ monthly theme. Extra-curricular activities include but are not limited to Bible Club Wednesday’s, P.E., Music and Movement, Spanish, Art, Library, Science/Discovery classes, Spanish, and a Media Lab equipped with books, Story Time Area, and Computers. The curriculum offers Bible Based lessons that will be taught in each aspect of learning. Every Wednesday, Treehouse Educational Center ORL will host Bible Club Day where our primary focus will be on our students at Noah’s Ark.
 
															 
															 
															4’s (VPK) Pre-Kindergarten children need to investigate new interests and experiences. Pre-Ker’s build a foundation for lifelong learning through play, exploration, trial, and error, and gain independence and self-confidence with their growing abilities while achieving readiness skills needed for kindergarten.
Treehouse Educational Center ORL takes pride in offering one of the best Pre-Kindergarten programs in the county. Our student/teacher ratio within the classroom is 18:1 with a classroom size of 18 to 20 with 2 teachers. Our goal here at the THEC is to partner with parents to provide a strong spiritual foundation to preschoolers in a loving, nurturing, Christ-centered environment of discovery and learning Pre-K instructional time begins at 8:00 AM. Phonics, reading readiness, math, and language etc. are vital. Our students will explore S.T.E.A.M. STEAM is an educational approach that uses these subjects to guide student inquiry, discussion, and problem-solving. Our STEAM program can help children develop skills such as critical thinking, communication, and collaboration, as well as practical skills. They can also help children develop a lifelong interest in the arts and sciences. Lessons through Coding are also connected to familiar experiences in a young child’s world to reinforce all STEAM concepts.

In addition to academic instruction, THEC offers a range of extra-curricular activities, including Bible Club, Physical Education, Music & Movement, and language classes. 															Treehouse Educational Center offers an After Care Program for families needing extended hours beyond the school day. With a focus on providing a safe and engaging environment, children are welcomed with nutritious snacks and outdoor play before transitioning to homework assistance and enrichment activities. The program caters to students from Chickasaw Elementary, Deerwood Elementary, and Little River Elementary, ensuring convenience for families from these schools.
The After Care Program operates from 3:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. on regular school days, providing a structured schedule that includes time for homework, reading, Bible activities, games, and indoor/outdoor play. Emphasizing the importance of reading, the program aims to support children’s academic and social development while allowing them to unwind from their school day.
Parents can rely on the program coordinator to communicate any changes in schedule, as the program is not offered during school holidays or half days. This commitment to clear communication ensures families can plan accordingly and trust their children are well-cared for during extended hours.
 
															The Frog Street Pre-K curriculum is a comprehensive, dual-language program designed to meet the needs of diverse learners while supporting developmental learning domains. Acknowledging the individual needs of ALL learners, the pre-k curriculum includes strategies for differentiated instruction, adaptations for special needs and English Language Learners.
Cultural responsiveness strategies are also included at point-of-use, with prompts and reminders to help teachers maintain an anti-bias mindset. A fully integrated digital assessment tool informs instruction, and professional development tips at point-of-use help to build teacher capacity.
